Shaukat Siddiqui’s death jolts Urdu world

Veteran poet Wajid Sehri dies
Veteran Urdu poet Wajid Sehri passed away. He was one of the most prominent poets of Rampur dabistaan (school) of Urdu poetry.
He was active in the poetic circle of Delhi. Several condolence meets were organised to pay tributes to him. At Delhi Urdu Academy Professor Qamar Raees paid glowing tributes to the departed poet.
